2026年度版Moodleより、ログイン時の多要素認証を稼働開始いたします。

＜ユーザーに求められる操作＞

［1］Googleドライブに保存されたMicrosoft Officeファイルを、パスワードをかけたまま編集したい場合

1. ファイルをローカルにダウンロードして開き、Microsoft Officeアプリで編集し、終了後Googleドライブにアップロードし直す

2. Googleドライブのデスクトップアプリ（パソコン版Googleドライブ）を使用してファイルを開き、Microsoftアプリで編集する

デスクトップアプリ（パソコン版Googleドライブ）は「パソコン版Googleドライブを使用する」🔗を参照してください。

• ブラウザ上でファイルのパスワードを削除した場合は、パスワードを再設定してください。

• PDFファイルはこの仕様の影響を受けません。

［2］ファイルの内容を確認するだけの場合

• 「プレビュー」ボタンをクリックしてファイルを開く

＜詳細＞

• これはGoogleの仕様変更によるもので、機能を無効化することはできません。

• Googleドライブをはじめ、クラウド上に保存した保護すべきファイルは、パスワードだけに頼らず、適切に共有設定を行い、必要な相手にだけ共有するよう管理してください。

［1］この仕様により発生する事象とリスク

• ブラウザ上のGoogleドライブ上で、パスワードで保護されたMicrosoft Officeファイルを開くと、「『編集』モードで開くとパスワードが削除されるので、パスワードを保持するにはプレビューモードで開いてください」🔗というメッセージが表示されます。

• パスワードを入力した後に「編集」ボタンをクリックすると、ファイルにかかっていたパスワードが自動的に削除されます。

• この仕様によって一度パスワードが削除されると、その後そのファイルにアクセスするユーザーは、パスワードなしでファイルを閲覧・編集できるようになります。

［2］対象となるファイル形式

• 以下のファイルをブラウザ版Googleドライブで開くと、この本事象が発生します。

Microsoft Word（.docx, .doc等）、Excel（.xlsx, .xls等）、PowerPoint（.pptx, ppt等）で作成したファイル

<Required Actions for Users>
[1] To edit Microsoft Office files saved in Google Drive while maintaining password protection:
(Choose either of the following two methods)

1. Download the file to your local device, open and edit it using some Microsoft Office application, and then re-upload it to Google Drive.

2. Open the file via the Google Drive for desktop app and edit it using Microsoft Office applications.
   For instructions on using the desktop app, refer to: Use Google Drive for desktop🔗

• If you have already removed a password while working in the browser, reset the password manually.

• PDF files are not affected by this change.

[2] To only view the content:

• Simply click "Preview" to open the file.

<Technical Details>

• This behavior is due to a change in Google’s system specifications and cannot be disabled.

• For files stored in the cloud that require protection, do not rely solely on passwords and manage your files by configuring appropriate sharing permissions to ensure they are accessible only to authorized users.

[1] Issue and Risks from this specification:

• When you open a password-protected Microsoft Office file in Google Drive via a web browser, the following message will appear: "Opening in 'Edit' mode will remove the password. To keep the password, please open in Preview mode."🔗

• If you click the "Edit" button after entering the password, the password protection will be automatically removed from the file. Once the password is removed, any subsequent users accessing the file will be able to view and edit it without being prompted for a password.

[2] Affected File Formats

• This issue occurs when opening the following Microsoft Office formats in the browser version of Google Drive:
  Microsoft Word: (.docx, .doc, etc.), Excel: (.xlsx, .xls, etc.), PowerPoint: (.pptx, .ppt, etc.)
